Name:- Dr.Anand Bhosale,
   Professor,MBBS,MD

Experience:

Dr. Anand Bhosale has experience in Pathology for 25 years. He is a dedicated teacher, whose lectures in General Pathology, Surgical Pathology and Hematopathology are cherished by students. He is a believer in small group and hands on practical training. He has a passion for innovation in teaching. He has very good experience as Director, Central Clinical Laboratory. He also has good experience in NABL process.

He has been actively pursuing various lines of research and regularly publishing the same. He believes that pathologists must attend conferences so as to keep newer developments in their field. Presenting at such conferences promotes discussions on many topics of research helping one to grow in knowledge and skills.

Achievements:

He has served as examiner in several universities for both postgraduate and undergraduate medical, dental, physiotherapy and other allied paramedical students. He has guided several postgraduate students for their research work including dissertation.

  6. Organizing Secretary, 1 st International Masterclass in Sarcoma Pathology in India at SMCW & SUHRC, Pune.
  7. NABL accreditation awarded to CCL & Histopathology-Cytopathology Lab SMCW, SUHRC in very first attempt under his leadership as a Lab Director.

A large and the beautifully organized museum with over 320 well-dissected and mounted and 200 unmounted rare specimens with several copies of catalogues available. Short descriptions have been printed and displayed with suitable microphotographs arranged system wise in cubicles. Innovative display on glass shelves and desks with Transillumination and good lighting arrangement.

Very convenient working / mounting area and specimen store available. A special room for small group specimen discussion with an artificially designed display table, seating and teaching aids is an added attraction.
