Clinical & Community Engagement
- Actively involved in routine clinical diagnostic services, emphasizing accuracy, quality reporting, and timely results.
- Participates in multidisciplinary clinical discussions to support patient management and enhance clinical outcomes.
- Voluntarily contributed radiology expertise to an educational short film on breast cancer awareness, "Mardowali Baat", directed by Dr. Shekhar Kulkarni and filmed at the Radiology Department, SMCW & SUHRC, receiving formal acknowledgment for promoting community health awareness.
Leadership & Committees & Administrative Roles
- Currently serving as Lead Faculty for Internship Guidance, providing continuous academic mentoring, clinical orientation, and supervision to interns in the Radiology Department.
- Guides MBBS students during Early Clinical Exposure (ECE) and Elective Postings, facilitating practical understanding, hands-on exposure, and imaging–clinical correlation.
- Serving as In-Charge of the PC-PNDT Committee, ensuring statutory compliance, proper record maintenance, and ethical radiology practices.
- Actively involved in departmental administrative activities to support academic, clinical, and regulatory functions.
- Contributed as a co-member of the NAAC Committee, assisting in documentation, quality assurance, and departmental coordination under the guidance of HOD Dr. Amol Gautam.
Teaching & Mentoring Highlights
- Delivers MBBS lectures according to departmental teaching schedules, covering core radiology topics and ensuring structured learning.
- Mentors MBBS students during Early Clinical Exposure (ECE) and Radiology Elective Postings, enhancing practical understanding of imaging modalities and clinical correlation.
- Guides SMCW & FMG Interns during their 7-day Radiology postings with hands-on training, case discussions, and constructive feedback to strengthen diagnostic skills.
- Mentors senior residents and colleagues in case interpretation, practical skills, and conceptual understanding of radiology.
- Conducts interactive sessions for SIHS Imaging Sciences students (BSc & MSc) on imaging principles, radiation safety, and clinical reasoning, fostering continuous learning.
- Serves as faculty in the Clinical Competency Development Programme (CCDP) for Philips Employees, providing hands-on training, technical guidance, and practical insights to enhance imaging competency.
- Faculty for the Fistula Workshop (Dr. Samrat Jankar) and SymbiScope Workshop (Dr. Milind Telang), providing hands-on training and guidance in MRI fistulogram interpretation and pelvic USG techniques respectively.
