- Workshop on Curriculum Implementation Support Program (CISP) 2024 for 2 days (subject to approval from Nodal Centre and NMC) (30 participants from SMCW).

- Coordinating all activities of MEU & Curriculum committee.
- Faculty development through seminars, workshops, conferences, and CME programs.
- Curriculum development for undergraduate and postgraduate programs in alignment with the latest NMC guidelines.
- Updating and implementing the latest NMC guidelines for UG/PG examinations.
- Coordinating and facilitating all NMC activities.
- Supervising and coordinating overall educational and research development at the Institute.
- Actively contributing to effective curricular development, implementation, and monitoring, including faculty capacity-building activities, in accordance with the National Medical Commission to effectively implement Competency-Based Medical Education.
- Introducing advanced research programs in medical and health professional education.
- Updating current trends in medical education by conducting faculty development programs in the form of CMEs, conferences, workshops, and NCHPE.
Activities planned in future:
- To be able to conduct NCHPE in the next 2 years.
- To be able to start some publishing activity journal in a year or newsletter every month of SMCW/SUHRC and/or FOMHS.
- To develop SMCW as a centre of excellence in medical education.
- Training of the MEU faculty for advance faculty development courses.
- To coordinate in conducting the Foundation Course for first-year MBBS.
- To conduct Faculty development workshops/program (1 per month).
- To conduct Faculty Basic Course in Medical Education Workshop in Medical Education Technologies (at least 1 per year).
- To conduct Sensitization Programme on AETCOM Module (Attitude, Ethics, and Communication Module) (at least 1 per year).
- To conduct Curriculum Implementation Support Programme-III (CISP-III) (1 every year).
- Workshop on Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE).
