The Department of Microbiology, SMCW- SUHRC has a RT-PCR Laboratory which is situated in Building No. 4 on the 3rd floor SMCW. The Laboratory was accredited by NABL on 7th October, 2020 and permission to operate RT-PCR laboratory for COVID-19 testing was issued by ICMR on October 14, 2020. Laboratory started with testing for COVID-19 by RT-PCR on October 16, 2020.
