Conference

• White Coat ceremony and Cadaveric oath for the batch 2021-22 was organized on 23rd March 2022, at 3.00 pm in the Anatomy Dissection Hall.
• Dean FoHS, Dean SMCW, Deputy Dean SMCW, all students, faculty of Anatomy department and Heads of First year and Second year attended the program.
• Dr. Sunit Jadhav, Assistant Professor, Anatomy welcomed everybody.
• This was followed by a brief presentation on History of Anatomy by Dr. Mandar Ambike, Associate Professor, Anatomy.
• Dr. Vijay Natarajan, CEO, Symbiosis University Hospital and Research Centre delivered a note on the importance of the White Coat.
• Dr. Rajiv Yeravdekar, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Symbiosis International University and Dr. Vijaya Sagar, Dean, SMCW handed over white coats to two students who represented the batch. The remaining faculty members distributed white coats to all other students.
• Dr. Vaishaly Bharambe, HOD, Anatomy Department delivered the Charak Oath and Cadaveric Oath to the students.
• Dr. T. Vijaya Sagar, Dean, SMCW distributed Cadaveric Oath Certificates to the students.
• Dr. Rajiv Yeravdekar, Dean FoHS addressed and welcomed the students to Symbiosis Medical College for Women.
• Dr. Vijaya Sagar, Dean, SMCW delivered the vote of thanks.
• This was followed by a group photograph.
• Dr. Vijaykumar and Dr. Arunprasad demonstrated “Anatomage”, a Virtual Dissection Table.
