On the occasion of World Psoriasis Day, a patient awareness program with interactive session with people had been organized by the Departments of Dermatology and Psychiatry on 29th October 2021 at Symbiosis Medical College for Women, SIU, Pune.

The program was attended in huge numbers by patients and their relatives, faculties as well as students. There was lot of interaction between people and the faculty about psoriasis and its psychosocial aspects. Their questions were answered by the doctors’ team. The event had a huge success in creating awareness in public about psoriasis and addressed common myths, disbeliefs, fears and helped them in understanding nature of the disease and improve doctor-patient relationship.
