With an advanced facility of state of the art equipment, the Department of Dentistry deals with
prevention of disease and treatment of damage to the oral cavity. Basic oral examination and
evaluation is done using low dose digital radiography where indicated. The department primarily
deals with the dental treatments, dental surgeries and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Tulsi Subramaniam completed her graduation in dental surgery and Masters in Oral And Maxillofacial Prosthetic Dentistry from Government Dental College and Hospital, Mumbai University in 1996. Following her post-graduation, Dr. Tulsi has been a teacher, Professor, and postgraduate guide At D Y Patil Dental College and Hospital Pimpri, Pune. She has teaching experience of almost 15 years, after MDS in Dental College and Medical Colleges, of which 6 years were in the capacity of Professor and Postgraduate guide in Prosthodontics.
Dr. Tulsi has also been in private practice for over 25 years. She has also completed certified courses in Dental Implantology, Esthetics, and Cosmetic dentistry, as well as Rotary endodontics which has enhanced her credentials even further. Her special area of interest is the replacement of teeth with crown and bridge as well as personalized dentures.
Achievements:
Dr. Tulsi has an impeccable student academic record for having topped the university of Mumbai in subjects Ranging from Dental Materials to Prosthetic Dentistry. She has chaired many scientific meetings, forums, conducted many CDE, and has more than 27 national and international publications to her name.
