Obstetrics and Gynecology is the multispecialty that encompasses two subspecialties of Obstetrics (covering pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum period) and Gynecology (covering the health of female reproductive system- vagina, uterus, ovaries and breasts).

Dr. Dinesh Bhasin obtained his MBBS and MD (Obstetrics and Gynecology) degrees from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, one of the premier institutes for medical education.
Dr. Bhasin has 13 years of teaching experience. He retired in the rank of Colonel from the Army Medical Corps and was Professor Obstetrics & gynaecology with AFMC, Pune before joining the present institute.
Dr. Dinesh Bhasin is an eminent teacher and has been the PG examiner for many M.S. (Obstetrics and Gynecology) exams.
Dr. Bhasin has many publications in National & International journals.
The department has recently inaugurated School of Hysteroscopy as on 6th April 2024 offering advance hysteroscopic, diagnostic & operative procedures with certification courses and workshops to be held quarterly for PAN India residents & doctors of obstetrics & Gynaecology.
