Department Overview

Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy is a clinical subject taught during Final year of M.B.B.S course. The Department is situated on the 4th floor of Building no 3 & Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy OPD is situated on the Lower Ground Floor of Building no 2 of Symbiosis Medical College for Women at the Lavale Hill-base Campus.

The Department is committed to train medical students and impart them knowledge and skills about evaluation, diagnosis and management of patients with skin, hair, nails and venereological diseases.

M.B.B.S, MD (Dermatology Venereology & Leprosy) from Pune University

Won the Gokhale award for topping the MD exam in the University.

33 years of teaching experience for Undergraduate and Postgraduate teaching in Dermatology Venereology & Leprosy.

Expertise in HIV screening, counseling, and patient management; established cutaneous surgery centers; conducted various dermatological and laser procedures.
