Dermatology, Venereology And Leprosy is a clinical subject taught during Final year of M.B.B.S
course. The Department is situated on the 4th floor of Building no 3 & Dermatology, Venereology
And Leprosy OPD is situated on the Lower Ground Floor of Building no 2 of Symbiosis Medical
College for Women at the Lavale Hill-base Campus.
The Department is committed to train medical students and impart them knowledge and skills
about evaluation, diagnosis and management of patients with skin, hair, nails and venereological
diseases.

Name:- Dr. Praneet Awake (Incharge HOD)
M.B.B.S. D.N.B. (Dermatology & Venereology)
Dr. Praneet Awake has obtained his M.B.B.S. degree from Indira Gandhi Government Medical College & Hospital Nagpur. He has received his post-graduation in D.N.B. (Dermatology & Venereology) from National Board of Examinations, Delhi. Presently he is serving as Assistant Professor and the incharge Head of the Department of Dermatology, Venereology And Leprosy, at Symbiosis Medical College for Women Pune.

Dr. Praneet Awake has obtained his M.B.B.S. degree from Indira Gandhi Government Medical College & Hospital Nagpur. He has received his post-graduation in D.N.B. He has over 5 years of experience after post-graduation in academic, teaching, research, administration as well as industry.
