Experience:
Dr. Satyam Sarkar is a committed specialist in Immunohematology and Blood Transfusion Medicine, with focused expertise in therapeutic apheresis, bone marrow aspiration, biopsy techniques, and advanced transfusion practices. His professional interests revolve around clinical hematology, hemato-oncology, and effective blood utilization strategies aimed at enhancing patient care outcomes.
He has completed his MD in Immunohematology and Blood Transfusion Medicine from MGM Medical College, Navi Mumbai, following his MBBS from the Institute of Medical Sciences and SUM Hospital, Bhubaneswar. He holds valid registration with the Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC) and is an FDA-licensed Blood Centre Medical Officer.
He has enhanced his clinical expertise through targeted training and observerships at reputed institutes, including an “Observership in Transfusion Medicine and Hemato-oncology” at TATA ACTREC, Navi Mumbai, and a “Hands-on Training Workshop in Blood Group Serology and Blood Bank Methodology” at ICMR National Institute of Immunohematology, Mumbai.
